* Vessel more than 09.50 m and up to 10.00 m draught at LCT terminal and vessels more than 10.00 m and up to 10.50 m draught at MW 4 will be allowed by taking the benefit of tide.
** Vessel more than 11.5 m and up to 12.0 m draught at QICT I Berth No. 5 and vessel more than 12.0 m and up to 12.5 m draught at QICT I Berth No. 7 will be allowed by taking benefit of tide.
*** LNG Q Flex/MOSS calling to EETL terminal under dispensation are allowed from 16 September to 15 May up to draft of 11.50 m.
**** Vessel more than 10.00 m and up to 10.50 m draught at EVTL terminal will be allowed under dispensation during night from 16 September to 15 May by taking benefit of tide.
3. Requirement for LPG vessels entering or leaving harbour during night for SSGC and EVTL terminal as follows:
i. EVTL terminal: LOA = 180 m, Beam = 33 m and Draft = 10 m
ii. SSGC terminal: LOA = 163 m, Beam = 33 m and Draft = 10 m
4. Requirement for laden tanker vessels entering or leaving harbour during night with maximum parameters for vessel more than 150 meter and upto 230 meters LOA with 33.0 meters Beam and 12.0 meters draught at FOTCO terminal will be allowed by taking benefit of tide under keel clearance of 2 meter tide. Additionally, night navigation during monsoon is not permitted.
5. The above draughts and dimensions are subject to availability of sufficient height of tide favourable wind and weather conditions at the time of passage for berthing / sailing of vessels.
6. Above noted draughts and dimensions are subject to change in case of abnormal siltation if any.
7. Berthing at risk and cost of ship owners / agents.
8. Ships are to commence discharging immediately after berthing.
9. Ships on arrival at outer anchorage are requested to intimate correct draughts and dimensions.
10. Vessels violating notices to mariners will not be accepted.
11. Deeper draught vessels calling port qasim will be handled by taking benefit of the tide.
12. Any case of misdeclaration / concealment of draughts / dimensions by the master, owner, agent etc., will be construed as violation to the above notice to mariners and liable for imposition of penalty as per port rules.
13. Container vessel of LOA more than 280 metres should be with operational bow thruster or prior permission for berthing / unberthing from PQA will be required.
LNG 1 is Engro Elengy Terminal Ltd EETL.
LNG 2 is Pakistan GasPort Consortium Limited PGPC.
Upon receiving vessel’s details, in case vessel’s parameters exceed any of the parameters allowable under prevailing PQA Notice to Mariners agent obtain Principal’s approval and apply for dispensation from PQA is as under:

Port Qasim SOP for LNG/C dated 30th April 2016 along with Conditions of Use COU.
LNG/Cs are to sign COU and send via email to agent before arrival and at the time of vessel’s berthing give original to Pilot.
04 tugs have been used for LNG/C berthing / unberthing and the same is done during day light only.
Shore cranes are not available at Port Qasim.
Water density is between 1021 to 1024.
Presently Port Qasim Authority is maintaining ISPS security level 1 and Pakistan standard time is being maintained UTC +5.
